Information from Jesse regarding her style of therapy:
Most therapy sessions will last 40-60 minutes and will occur on a weekly or biweekly basis. I believe in the effectiveness and healing powers of therapy and I hope that you will engage fully in the process of therapy and put in the effort to create needed change in your (or your family member’s) life. In therapy sessions, I often utilize play techniques, art therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in sessions with children. In sessions with adults, couples and families, my modalities include arts-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and systemic modalities. The first few sessions of therapy will be spent creating an appropriate therapeutic relationship and alliance in which we can determine the best course of treatment for you and/or your loved one. I am relaxed in my style of therapy, and genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients and supporting them in making the changes they desire.
